Rhinoplasty is cosmetic nasal surgery performed to refine and reshape your nose to attain a more pleasing balance to your facial structure and in some cases to relieve physical anomalies that may affect your breathing. Rhinoplastys have been performed on thousands of people with dramatic results and are ideally suited to someone who is physically and emotional healthy and stable and has realistic expectations of what a rhinoplasty can accomplish.

Rhinoplasty normally takes one to two hours in an out-patient setting to accomplish, usually under general anesthesia, but in some instances local anesthesia with sedation is offered. Swelling, bruising and tenderness after the surgery is common and will be easily controlled with prescribed pain medication for the tenderness, while the swelling and bruising will resolve with time. The results of your rhinoplasty are permanent and the recovery time usually lasts from two to four weeks. As each day passes your refined nose will look better and better and as the healing process continues your reshaped nose will appear more and more in harmony with your facial structure.
